Eric’s Muscle Cars is proud to offer this Magnificent 1937 Ford Coupe Hot Rod Show Car. Garage kept from day 1of the build. This Street Rod has never seen a drop of water. The ALL STEEL body had glass hood, fender, and running boards added Paint is only 4 years old and in excellent condition. One of very few Ford Street Rods with a Ford ENGINE ! The built 351c (Cleveland) 4V cobra jet with complete rebuild by a close friend and NASCAR drag race engine builder and is attached to a C-6 Transmission with 2800 stall converter. With less 1000 miles on them. Almost everything on this balanced rotating assembly engine is new except the 4 bolt main block, crank, and rods. I went 4v open chamber heads to be able to get the compression down to 9.9-1 for pump gas use. It has a Howard's hydraulic cam avg. .540 lift. Real nice loopey idle and it smooths right out at about 1800-2000 rpm. Edelbrock rpm air gap intake, Holley 750 vac. sec.carb. MSD billet distributor and 6al ignition. It has quite a bit of polished and chrome dress up parts on the engine. Runs and sounds great thru the full exhaust system out to the rear. Its up and over the rear end so you can only see the system if you look under the car. I don't like looking at exhaust systems that hang down under the car. The '37 has a manufactured rectangular tube chassis. It is not an ex-drag car. it was a purpose built street rod/weekend race car originally. It has a 9" for rear and Moser axles with a new eaton tru-trac diff. and new 4:11 Richmond gears. The 33 x 21.5 wide M/T sportsman pro tires knock the gear was down into the 3's. The M/T Sportsman front radials are new. It is a 4 link suspesnion with 4 wheel disc brakes and 4 wheel coil over shocks. It has a flaming river rack and pinion steering unit on a mustang ll style tubular front suspension. car has a nice 8 point roll cage. No wipers. Wheels are new weld pro stars with bullet center caps and bullet lugs. Chassis is satin black and is in good clean condition. Brand new interior done recently. Headliner, carpet, insulation, matting, seats, door panels, sail panels and kick panels. It has a chrome tilt steering column. Full set of SW wings series gauges. New Hurst quarter stick with console and new seat belts.
